Our timeline
- End-2019: startup studio Lab Box detects a need for a mobility budget product. They run a pilot with a prototype and 2 customers. Then decide to recruit a team and launch a startup
- Mar 2020: Amaury & Quinten start Mbrella. David and Audrey join a few weeks later. They start hiring the rest of the team
- Jul 1, 2020: start of the product development
- Sep 6, 2020: launch of Mbrella V1
- Jun 29, 2021: Mbrella wins the ING tender. Marks our first big corporate customer and opens the Corporate segment
- Oct 18, 2021: launch of our Freemium product for SMEs & partnership with 4 social secretaries
- Dec 20, 2021: seed funding round of €2,5 Mio
- June 01, 2022: the + 7.000 employees of ING have access to our platform
- Oct 05, 2022: winner of the HR Tech award 2022
- Sep, 2023: series A funding round of €6 Mio
