Hi there, if you’re reading this, chances are we’ll be working together!
It can sometimes take a while to get to know another person. I’d like to take a shortcut and tell you about how to work with me, so we can be efficient from day 1.

☝️ This is my personal way of working. It doesn’t mean I expect you to work in the same way (at all). The only goal is to make us work well together.

My personality type
My personality type is ENTJ-A (Commander). Read more about this personality type here.
A Commander (ENTJ) is someone with the Extraverted, Intuitive, Thinking, and Judging personality traits. They are decisive people who love momentum and accomplishment. They gather information to construct their creative visions but rarely hesitate for long before acting on them.
My working schedule
- I'm an evening person. I am not at my most productive in the morning and I often work late.
- I frequently work abroad and highly value flexibility in my working schedule.
- I protect my weekends and try to be disconnected. I appreciate it if you respect this.
- I am very protective of my time. Time is the only thing in life we have. It’s one of the reasons I am reluctant to meetings. I expect people to do write-ups so I can have a go at it at my own convenience.
My working style
- I can sometimes come across as cold or even arrogant. This is mostly because I am focused and try to avoid distractions. It is not my intention and just know that I absolutely do care about what you say. Feel free to call me out on this.
- I am very direct and prefer to get straight down to business. My communication is fast and I won't ask 'How are you?' at the beginning of a question out of custom etiquette, certainly in written communication. I know this can feel rude to other people. Tell me if this bothers you.
- I am a pragmatic thinker and prefer working with people who are practical and logical. If you ramble or become emotional, I can zone out of the conversation.
- I’m strongly opinionated, but my opinions are weakly held. Don’t feel intimidated to challenge me on my opinions. I even like it.
- I generally stay calm. This doesn't mean that I don't care when sh*t hits the fan. I just try not to let emotions affect my work.
- I have difficulties with authority or people telling me to do things. I’d rather have you describing a problem to me than proposing a solution.
- I am addicted to progress and accomplishments. This makes that I can sometimes lose sight of the personal side of things. I try to be better at this. I'm not going to be the most chatty person in the office, but I love to have a good discussion when we're having drinks!
